Vacationers and Hikers wishing to see a live web and snow cam of both Idyllwild and Pine Cove areas, can now visit the Idyllwild Vacation Cabins website to see both communities served with a second live web cam. Both are updated every few minutes, day and night. We have seen this page so active, that we decided to add a second camera to the Pine Cove area. We think everyone will be eager to see when it's snowing too. :-) When you visit the Idyllwild Vacation Cabins website, the web cam page is located in the ABOUT IDYLLWILD menu. We've added a new feature to our Booking Engine (where you book a cabin). At any time, a site visiter can click any number of CHECK AVAILABILITY buttons throughout the site. The first panel that is displayed is requesting the minimum requirements, such as the days desired for a rental, followed by the number of guests.  NOW WITH FILTERED RESULTS The next screen will show you all of the available units, each in their own box. At the right, there are a number of check boxes that will allow you to refine your search, so that you can search for only cabins that meet the days wanted, but also include a hot tub, wood burning stove, WiFi and is Pet Friendly. You list will update in real time.  Effective today, Tuesday, January 22, 2019, Idyllwild Vacation Cabins has rolled out our new Booking and Availability Calendar. We will be adding functionality to the new Booking and Availability Calendar in phases. At any place on the page, should you find a cabin that you like, it is best that you note the cabin name.  Sample "Check Availability" button. Once you have clicked the "Check Availability" button, this will not lead directly to that specific cabin's availability page, but rather, it will allow you to see what is available amount all cabins given the desired dates and number of guests.  Initial Check Availability Booking Page Once you have entered the desired dates and the number of guests, you will be presented with all of the cabins that fit those settings. Scan down to find the cabin name you had initially desired. In the near future, we will jump directly to that cabins availability, so please be patient. Additionally, we will have options what will allow you check boxes for cabins with Hot Tubs, Pet Friendly, WiFi, Views and Creeks. Only those cabins that fit those settings will be shown.  Sample results. You can again view images of each cabins. At the bottom of the "List of Available Cabins", you can view what is available by date. From the main menu, the OUR BEST CABINS and INDIVIDUAL CABINS menu items will lead you to every cabin we manage. The OUR BEST CABINS menu, you'll find a list of cabin pages pre-sorted by category and price. They include cabins sorted: ALPHABETICALLY PET FRIENDLY WITH HOT TUBS WITH VIEWS ON A CREEK and lists sorted by number if bedrooms, as in 1&2 BEDROOMS cabins 3&4 BEDROOMS cabins 5 & 6 BEDROOM cabins All are sorted within by price within each category. The last menu option will display cabins sorted by PRICE. Individual CabinsFor those that know the name of the cabin, you can jump directly to a specific cabin. They are sorted alphabetically in the menu. In the latest update, we have extended the cabin name by adding the number of bedrooms and/or lofts.  Mobile Devices MenusThe same menus exist when viewing the page from a mobile device. For mobile devices, you can access the website menu by clicking the menu graphics, which is denoted below. Click that to find the desired menus and sub-menus.  The OUR BEST CABINS is a list of pre-sorted pages. If you want to seach for Pet Friendly Cabins, there is a menu option for that, just as there is now 3 menu options for the number of bedrooms. Searches now can be done by the Number of Bedrooms, Sorted by PriceEffective immediately, visitors to the Idyllwild Vacation Cabins website and now search directly for cabins with 4 bedrooms, making finding the perfect cabin so much easier. To jump to the SORTED pages, go to the OUR BEST CABINS menu, and each menu item has our cabins sorted by various sort options to help find the right cabin quickly. Because we had a number of people asking how they could find cabins with a specific number of bedrooms, we listened and provided 3 new menu options. 1 & 2 Bedroom Cabins 2 & 3 Bedroom Cabins and 4 & 5 Bedroom Cabins. We know that this is going to help some of you, so with that, happy cabin hunting.
