Updated: May 11, 2020
Idyllwild Vacation Cabins remains open to all travelers. During this crisis, we have implemented a temporary policy of checking directly into each cabin to minimize personal interaction. Additionally, once checked in, no housekeeping staff will enter the home during your stay. If trash pickup is necessary, we will use protective face masks and gloves. We will not enter the home to do this.
We will require a minimum of between 48 and 72 hours (normally the later) between each cabin booking. For more information on our enhanced safety measures, see below sections.

CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR'S STAY AT HOME ORDER-CLARIFICATION
The governor's Stay At Home order issued 3/19 left many confused, including us. According to clarification from the California Hotels & Lodging Association, as well as the State's Office of Emergency Services, hotels and inns (B&Bs etc) are EXEMPTED from the order, as are employees, staff and guests as they are considered to be performing an ESSENTIAL function. This was verified on 3/20 and we will update this page with more information. See the local county guidelines, above, on what constitutes 'Essential' travel and that there is currently NOT a ban on travel at the state level, although some regions have enacted their own restrictions.
