 Nestled among pine trees on a quiet residential street, this SMOKE-FREE but DOG-FRIENDLY cabin can sleep 7 to 9 guests and has off-street parking for 3 cars. The tranquil setting is perfect for bird watching from the front porch swing or taking a peaceful walk around the hilly neighborhood or to town (0.3 miles to nearest restaurant). On hand are an assortment of books, DVDs, and board/video games. Or you can stream your favorite show on one of the 5 smart TVs. This cabin is pet-friendly. The second floor features a Full Bath, a spacious Master Bedroom (with KING bed, smart TV, and desk), and a Loft (with FULL bed, smart TV, and Xbox 360). The first floor offers another Full Bath and 2 more Bedrooms -- each with smart TVs. One has a BUNK BED (FULL/TWIN); the other has a QUEEN bed and a desk. The Living Room features a wood-burning fireplace, seating for 5-6, a large smart TV, and a Blu-ray player (with DVDs). The Eat-in Kitchen offers a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, cookware, and dishware. The table seats 4 but is expandable to 8 with the leaves and folding chairs in the Laundry Room, which has a Washer and Dryer. The Fenced-in Backyard is ideal for dogs and features a GRILL, two tables with combined seating for 6, and another seating area with a peek-a-boo view of the mountains. Even though it's technically a studio, there is a room divider that can be opened to give you a bit of privacy from the living area or leave it folded for a more open feeling. There is a super cozy queen bed and large bathroom with shower. The living area has a wood burning stove, chair and couch that folds out to accommodate 2 more people. A small dinette table completes the main living area. Just off the living room, is a great size kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals. For such a cozy cabin, it feels very open and everything inside is the perfect combination of rustic, classy, and clean. This cabin is perfect for a couple or a small family and located in a quiet neighborhood with a relaxing view. And just a fun note, all of the curtains and quits are beautifully hand made by the owners mom which gives it a super homey feel.

Idyllnook Lodge is about a mile away from the center of town, walkable to all shops and restaurants. It has plenty of level parking and is pet friendly. Classy mountain decor with no clutter. This lovely cabin has two comfortable queen beds upstairs in one large room. Across the hall another private room and queen bed with shared full bathroom. Downstairs master bedroom has a gorgeous king bed. The large river rock fireplace is perfect for enjoying a large fire and relaxing with family. The enclosed patio offers a cozy outdoor dining setting with an amazing view of the stars for gazing. Hot tub outside and propane BBQ allow for great picnic setting in your own back yard and plenty of outdoor seating. Enclosed sun room also great for lounging on windy or wet days. The dining room has a large table and chairs. The kitchen is fully updated with all of the amenities at your disposal. There is an additional sleeper sofa in the living room. The "North Wing" living room features the signature stone fireplace with a Manzanita spiral staircase leading up to 3 bedrooms—Betelgeuse, Sirius and Polaris. Each of these bedrooms has its own bathroom and balcony. The living room has a bar/kitchenette with a 2 burner hot plate, air fryer, microwave, crock pot, refrigerator, coffee maker and tea pot. A lovely pine craft picnic table with extra chairs, 2 leather sofas, a game table and large screen TV make this the perfect place to hang out! The "South Wing" is also wonderful! It includes the original kitchen with a full-size fridge and full-size electric stove. A separate kitchenette is also off one of the bedrooms, so in total you have one refrigerator, two stoves and an air fryer, in addition to mini-fridges in all six bedrooms. The South Wing has a large river rock fireplace and classic knotty pine throughout. There are two private bedrooms downstairs, Mountainside and Creekside. The wonderful Creekside bedroom has a door to a second back deck above the creek, a cherry wood four poster bed, and a dresser. Mountainside has romantic lighting and is closest to the front yard, and second kitchenette. For your comfort, both downstairs bedrooms have their own private bathrooms and flat screen TVs. In the upstairs of our South Wing there is a Jack and Jill bathroom shared by the two loft bedrooms. The largest upstairs loft opens to a reading room balcony that looks down onto the fabulous great room. This loft features a queen bed and twin bed. The smaller loft bedroom has a daybed that can be converted to a king or used as two twin beds. We've added a new arcade video game for the kids upstairs, and a light star projector to keep teens and children happy in their astronomy-inspired surroundings. Root-Stone Lodge can accommodate 17 guests in beds, and we will consider up to 3 additional children. In the winter, we shovel and de-ice the walkways and plow the parking area, snow is cleared before arrival and departure. We request that all guests bring chains or 4WD for your safety. The charming town of Idyllwild is just a short walk on the creek, or a mile walk along the streets. Expect to experience what Idyllwild is all about in this beautiful and peaceful environment.
